Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Are you using balanced cables?  If so, that might be your problem.  One
of the output jacks is stereo, the other contains a mono mix.  I can't
remember if that gets disabled in the software when both cables are
plugged in, but try unbalanced cables for kicks...
