Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Howdy sportsfans.

As many of you have already done, I loaded the XL-1 presets into my user
banks because the sounds are slightly different. Well, out of an interest of
reclaiming some user patch space but also holding on to the nifty "new"
patches in the XL-1 preset banks, I did something odiously time consuming
this fine evening and now wish to share with you the extremely pleasant
results.

Using technical wizardry which even I find amazing, I removed all of the
patches in the XL-1 banks that were duplicated in the X-ROM preset banks
that are inside the XL-7. After doing this, I learned there were just over
256 patches that are "unique" to the XL-1. Only five ARP presets were
sacrificed to bring you two patch banks of patches that are "new" to the
XL-7. No duplicates. Yee howdy.

I've uploaded these files to the Emu_Command group at:

They load into User Banks 1 and 2 - I've got the TSCY Extras bank from Rob
Papen in my User Bank 0 (also in the files section of that group) for those
of you with the Techno Synth Construction Yard ROM. Put any additional
patches up on that site as you see fit - I've created folders for all of the
Command Stations as well as additional ROMs.

I also have a bank of custom "mib:" patches that I'll upload when I fill up
the bank (User Bank 4)...
