Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Our band is working on a new piece that potentially calls for organ or
an organ-like sound.  So, I need to practice like an organist
(thinking more like Hammond B3 player than classical church organ) and
that means playing with a volume pedal.

Last I checked the Boss volume pedals had poor durability, the Morleys
were built solidly but had a weird response curve, and the Ernie Balls
were revered but had poor customer service.  Has the state of the art
changed in the volume pedal world?  Is the Fatar pedal worth checking out?
