Generally, to do any music related sequencing, storage, etc., you will need a MIDI interface. PC USB midi interfaces are easy to find and relatively inexpensive. Heck, you can use a game port to MIDI interface cable (about $10) for starters to get basic MIDI functionality from your PC. If you do this, don't forget to turn on the MIDI i/o function in your PC BIOS when it boots..... I still have the very first OS. I downloaded the eloader off the emu site and it says the new eloader does support usb. Will I be able to use usb to get the new OS or do I have to go midi. I have looked all over my computer and I cant find the midi inputs so I dont think I will be able to do it via midi. Any help would be appreciated.
