Hey John I squirted some contact cleaner down into the pot of the Big Knob - it did help some but not completely, my understanding is that the rotary brush contacts wear out and the pots need to be replaced. They cost about $10, available from EPR Pro (Emu's service contractor) and my understanding is that it is easy to remove the worn out pot and install the new one, altho I have not done it yet.
