Hello, I see that I'm not the only one to use arp for make rythm. But I have never make extension or interval because of the fact that the percussion kit don't allaw you to make this ( The kick is always on the C C# the snare on D E F the toms on G A B and the charley on F# G# etc...it may varie with différents kit ). So the arp may be long for 1 2 or 3 bar at max ( because of the 32 steps of the arp that is already not very so bad ) So my question is: Do you make a 12 interval arp or do make your own preset using tunning and transpose to recycle your arp rythm? Perhaps you use this only for percussion. Thanks. But, I would encourage you to try making your own arps. It is not that difficult. Try a short cut to start: 1. Make a very simple percussion pattern in arp form. 2. Vary extension and interval. Once you've done that, make another one that jives with the first one. (Extension and interval need not be the same as the 1st one.) Make more. I believe someone wrote procedures here a few years ago on how to set up polyrhythms with different time signatures using overlapping arps. (I tried it at the time, but never got back to it.) --------------------------------- Appel audio GRATUIT partout dans le monde avec le nouveau Yahoo! Messenger Téléchargez le ici !
