Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

When powering up the unit, depress the cursor keys (<  >) which will 
put you into diagnostics mode.  Scroll to option 16 and hit enter.  
You will have to reload patterns via E-Loader and make sure you save 
any custom presets that you may have created.
