I just learned a way to use the repeat button to somewhat insert a flam in Grid record mode. Thanks Malik. Now, I was wondering a little about the flam itself. Like how many clicks is it? Is it the same as a 32nd note, thirty-two clicks? I always thought flams were alittle bit closer toghether than a 32nd note. I'm pretty sure the first note struck is supposed to be softer (a grace note) than the second note. Where exactly are these two notes supposed to be placed? Do I place the grace note on click 001.02.000 followed by the primary note on 001.02.032, or do I play the grace note at 001.01.352 so the primary note plays on 001.02.000? Also, what velocity does everyone usualy keep their grace note and primary note at? That also brings up another question. What velocities do ya'll usually play the drums at, ie. snare, bass, toms, cymbals, high-hats; or in other words what velocities do you use for the dynamics of a piece (ppp,pp,p,mp,mf,f,ff,fff)and their grace notes and accents? Thanks for the input. Branond
