Re: [xl7] question for yall

You missed it Aaron, I answered your question in the XL1 group, I almost answered it on the Orbit group:

"Unless patch "change" information is saved on the MPC, you must save what
preset is on what midi channel in a multisetup. See page 196 of the manual on what
is stored an how to do this."

Subject: [xl7] question for yall

Hi,

so I have been spending some time with my XL rack and I am starting to
the get the hang of some of the ins and outs but I am lost on one
thing...

I wrote a pattern in MPC using the xl as the tone generator, made many
changes to the midi chan and the volumes in the mixer section as well
as selected different patches for all the different midi channels -
when I was done for the day I turned off the unit.

I came back today and found that all my changes that I spent all that
time doing were no longer there. I saved all settings in the mpc, but
did not save anything on the XLrack, do I need to? if so, how?

what did I do wrong or what did I miss?

please help.
Aaron
