I attempted something similar to this and unfortunately I can't remember the exact steps- my mp-7 hastn't been switched on in a while as I have been busy. I did something like the following: 1-Set up the patch cords on a bass patch that one of the programmable knobs triggers the HOLD destination. Again I forget the exact names i'm afraid. This destination is usaually controlled by the sus pedal. 2-Set the patch to monophonic Now if I remember correctly, when I was grid sequencing turning aforementioned knob past halfway would tie the bass note into the next one and turning it back less than halfway would drop me back into 16ths or whatever. I'm fairly sure I had it working. Of course this would only work with internal patches. If anyone is really interested mail me to my yahoo addy mike_melonATyahoo.com and i'll try to replicate the technique and post the results. Best, Mike Edwards
