Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Looks like my power supply - or a connection inside it - has gone bad.
My XL7 frequently reboots itself and now won't even complete the
bootup process before restarting.

Anyone else experienced this? Is there anything else that could be
causing it? I knocked the power cord some time back and the socket
itself came loose within the case; I glued it in place and that seemed
to fix the issue at the time, but I suspect that some connection or
solder joint got flexed and has since gotten worse.

Anyone know how much a replacement power supply should cost? Or how
difficult it is to fix a bad connection in one?

Emu has handed off repairs on their hardware to someplace in Florida,
but I don't want to mail the unit cross-country so I'm hoping I can
get it fixed locally (I'm in LA but moving to SF in two weeks).
