All you need to do is update your Proteus 2000's software. The ROM is not defective, it just was created after the latest release of software and requires it. Otherwise, the old software gets confused between the ID for the samples and the ID for the presets. It's easy. Download E-loader and the 2.26 OS, connect your P2K to your computer via 2 MIDI cables (in AND out), then follow the instructions that come with the OS. http://www.emu.com/support/files/download2.asp?Centric=556&Legacy=1&Platform=1 -Aaron kide krazy <vexkon@...> wrote: the rom is not able to work on Proteus 2000 cause has two Id's saved on it .I fitted 4 different rom as Beat garden,Techno synt,Holy Grail,Composer coming from different machines and all these have worked good with not one problem. Is it possible that 2 rom IDs are on this rom? If so, is there anyway to erase one? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
