My hopes have been dashed. I set up a preset with links and filled
the sounds with sine waves tuned appropriately. Setup patchcords to
use realtime controller knobs to adjust amp volume. This didn't work
to adjust the volumes of each voice. Set each knob to midi control 7
but that just makes each knob control the overall volume. The sounds I
have gotten are quite hammondish though. If the xl7 had two more
stereo channels all would be good as the voices can be panned hard and
sent out in six ways and then controlled at the mixer. I'm just shy 3
channels :( My dmpro could handle another 6 channels but I don't have
the sine sound ...yet.
Setting up hardwired drawbar configs seems my only route unless . . .
