Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi, 

Still fairly new to using my MP-7. I had read and re-read my MP-7 
manual but I can't figure out exactly how to activate triggers to 
select which tracks I want to play and which tracks I'd rather start 
later in the song or pattern. Can someone explain how to control 
which tracks play in simple terms, I'd much appreciate it!
