Merry Christmas JMW: From the AP number, your ROM is an "ESynth" ROM for an Emu E6400Ultra sampler and is typically in ROM slot 0 in the sampler. I would assume it is also the ROM for an "ESynth" which is basically the above sampler factory configured with the ROM sound set. There's only two other ROMs I know of with this kind of numbering (AP530-nn) - - the AP530-00 "Sessions" ROM1 for the above sampler, and AP530-02 for the Audity 2000. (There's also an "Xtreme expansion" ROM for the Audity and I would guess it may have a similar number.) I do know that the Audity ROMs are not compatible with the rest of the Proteus family -- but I would guess that maybe all these AP530-nn ROMs are interchangeable amoung the machines designed for them (Emu 6400 Samplers & Audity 2000? [Can anyone confirm this??] If you can't use it in any of your gear, let me know via PM/email what you want for it if your selling - I do have a 6400Ultra that doesn't have that ROM installed. Ciao!
