Glad to hear you are enjoying your XL-7 + Composer ROM. You are right. To convert riffs (including bts riffs), transmit them to your sequencer via midi out to midi in and record. Or, you could play them into a software sequencer, save them as midi files, and send them to the XL-7 via e-loader. A few years ago, I did the midi out to midi in hookup and saved a few riffs from the P2500. I am not sure I have them any more. But it might be a good project if others are interested to make a bank of riffs as smfs. Anyone from Command Nation want to organize this? If so, I will look for the ones I converted to contribute. --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "fretsmax" <fretsmax@...> wrote: > > Hi All, > > I just installed a proteus 2000 in my xl-7 > and I'm loving it. > > One thing about BTS (beats?) > How can I get them to convert to standard patterns? > Or do I have to midi up my computer and record the beats to my computer > then back record to my XL7 > > Thanks >
