Check out the MP7 Rom that TY is selling.. Those have one of the best sounding basess you can get... It also comes with a nice guitar selection.. if you check out the emu website you can here some of the MP7 rom (Even though it's gear towards hiphop, you will find those fat basses and smooth guitars sounds your looking for)

The best sounds for this use likely to be available are in the
proteus 2000 set or versions thereof. This is heavily biased towards
bass a lot of which is dance music bass. It does have a fair
sprinkling of acoustic guitar, electric bass and lead guitar.
You can even try it out free if you are willing to do it in software
as emu website now provides a totally unhindered freebie of the
software Proteus (its called VX) which comes with a complete and
updated bank of the P2K rom set in software.
I am mainly a software user and the most realistic acoustic guitars
I have are from Emulator X banks I made myself from free magazine
samples and such like
