Just for the fun of it, I took your suggestion and did an internet search for VSE and Balma. In the first 10 pages there was only one possibly relevant link:

Most popular synth between VSE members?? by balma ยป Thu Jul 22, 2010 7:20 pm . just wondering wich is the emblematic synth for this forum.

I did not go past 10 search engine pages of results, but I will take you at your word that IN YOUR BROWSER there may have been a whole bunch more--and maybe even ones more recent that 2010. I have read some articles about how search engines work--or don't work, depending on your perspective. I have read about customized search results based on preferences that might be totally transparent to internet users. I have even been in chat where people looked up the same thing in a search engine and got different results.

I usually err on the side of providing too much explanation in my efforts to be helpful. I try to avoid assuming that people have the same background knowledge and/or experiences that I have, etc. That's why I looked up the link I was familiar with, verified that there was an indeed an explanation of patchcords that used SLOOP, posted the link, and gave relevant background.

But that's me.
