I've got an mp7 and an RS7000 (both for sale, btw).
The mp7 is the better rompler.  The RS7000 has superior
sequencing and effects, which for my use delegated the
mp7 to use as a sound module.  If you are planning on
using the mp7 as the main sequencer and are going to
use the pads a lot, spend some time with one before
you plunk down the money.
