Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I got the Techno Synth Rom, I wanted to download to the XL Extension 
Presets and ARP patterns from Papen web site but before I do that 
small question.

Now I have 2 ROMs inside my XL I will make sure that the *.mid will 
be downloaded into the Techno Synth Yard ROM and not the XL1 Rom 
inside.
Is there anything I need to do before downloading the files???
