Will anyone give a difinitive answer to this??? -----Original Message----- From: noision1 [mailto:noision1@...] Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 9:07 PM To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Subject: [xl7] Re: sample loading software...? You could be right, but how do you explain the ability of the XX-7s to *burn* "User Bank(s) to Flash" and *burn* a new name to a Flash SIMM using the Sound Authoring functions as included in the current O.S. and described on page 232 of the manual? The main hardware problem as I see it however on the other hand is, since there doesn't appear ( I could be wrong ) to be 32 Megs of RAM inside the XX-7s to stream the sample data onto the Flash Ram, if the flash ram cannot be written to incrementally, is the USB protocol stable enough to be able to stream such a 32 meg block of samples to the Flash Ram in one shot so as to not cause errors?
