Most jam sessions I have seen/been to, after the
booze kicks in, usually devolve into idiot blues, just about the time I leave.
What will happen with a bunch of XL-7s and cats?-- about two A.M. devolve into
endless amen breaks . . . ? :)

Plus weekends are bad because I gig... But if thats when it is, that's when it is :D----- Original Message -----From: erik_magrini@...Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 11:47 AMSubject: [xl7] More incentive for Chicago peeps!
Just got word that if we can get enough people together for this thing, we'll have some Emu goodies (fun stuff!) to raffle off! Personally I don't care if there's only a couple of us, but the more people we get the more fun it'll be. If any of you are coming from further away, there's some cheap hotels close by where I live (couple of blocks), or you're always welcome to grab a spot in my living room, tons of couches and a futon to go around. Especially as we'll be drinking, I'd rather people not drive later on (your choice of course).
So far I have tentatively responses from:
mduffy@... jibarosoul@...
aeon@... spec@...
mpipher@... byron@...
I'm thinking that possibly a Friday night in early August would be good, or a Saturday night if that's better for people. Ideas?
