Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello, new to the group, just got the beautiful xl-7 last night.  
This box rules, period.  I have gone through 2 rs7000's, sold em.  
The sounds sucked balls, and the sequencer made you stop every new 
recording.  Lame.   

Anyway, the Xl-7 sounds beautiful, very liquid, like my Nord.  The 
interface is intuitive and easy to learn.  What surprised me the most 
was the patch cord modulation abilities on this thing!!!!  The build 
quality is solid as hell too, like a tank.  

I wish I would have gotten this box last year when they came out.

Has anyone heard/have the beatgarden rom?  Is it better that the mo 
phatt one that comes on the mp-7?   What other ones are good for drum 
sounds?
