I look at it this way. There's mastering the features of the box, and there's exploring all the possibilities those features can do (intended or not, think tb303). So I think if someone were to sit down with the manual and read through it a couple times while playing with the box, they cold easily master all the features. This box is pretty damn intuitive since OS 1.31 came out, so you can pretty much guess correctly how to do something once you understand the architecture. What you actually DO with all that knowledge, well, that's a whole different story! Something I too hope it takes me years and years to even come close to touching on. The modulation matrix possibilities alone are pretty amazing... rEalm When I read "master this unit," I was reminded of the recently-posted knob layout for pretending to be be a synth. That reminded me quite forcefully that despite my making lots of music I'm very happy with, there are tons of things I haven't even thought of attempting. I mean, I've created maybe three user presets (one using various "VOX" sounds that sounds like an asylum in a drum) in the year I've had it. So I think it'll take years to master, in the sense of knowing all the ins and outs of what it can do.
