Re: [xl7] Re: e-loader for OS?

2002-09-25 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I'm dork, never mind, I was thinking about how we can't use the USB
functionality of E-Loader for OS updates. It's early and the coffee
machine is broken here, what can I say? :)

Howdy rEalm,

I hope I'm not confusing the issue, but my experience is purely based
around
updating my P2k (Proteus 2000) using the "OS Downloader" component of
E-Loader.

It's simply a matter of selecting the OS file, selecting the target synth,
and hitting the 'download' button.

Perhaps E-Loader's functionality differs with the XL-7/MP-7, however
seeing
the application was built for these models, I'd be surprised to hear it
doesn't at least offer the same OS update capability I've already seen
with
my P2k.
