Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

So, does anyone know what the realistic possibilities of EMU adding ROM
burning capabilities to what may very well be the 'last' major OS update???
I mean, I've seen some massive sytnhs get a final big bang upgrade, that was
just big enough to keep it in the 'classic' relics synth genre, and keep the
customer's 'coming' for years...I'm just wondering if the xx7's will make
that final leap of faith, and become what I would consider one of the best
cross-platform (ie multi-purpose) workstations available...it would
definately levee it out of the "sequencer" genre.
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew any dirty little secrets about
it, or if they really knew if the xx7's would even be able to do it at all,
within there present hardware envirements.
