  hi all

first i have to say i love my xl-7, ithought to buy a groove box and i got a synth.
i'm quite new to sound programming and have many things yet to discover
now 3 questions for the experienced ones in synth programming :

    1
on some presets one the xl'7, when i "un-hit"(sorry i don't know how to say it in english, "relache en francais") a key, there's a sound that happen : is that a modulation parameter?
i mean it seems to be linked to the release stage but i didn't find how to reproduce it.
if i'm not clear sorry, it happens for example on preset 59-3 of the rom, "wicked low"
    hope you understand better now.

2 about the release in the enveloppe.
imagine i have a sequence and i want the release happens ONLY on the last note, or when i mute the sequence (no "note on" any more)(if you know fruity loops i can do it with the "cut itself" on samples).
is there a common way to do this? without to have to turn the knob.

    3rd one
i still don't understand how to use the lag processors and other cords like sum abs(what's that?)
do u know where i can i find a good explanation
    no need RTFM, please

if NE1 can answer at least one of these question that'll be already great. thanx much
