Well the soundsare the same as the 505 with an XV like chip. I've never tried the RS7k though... Lots of different styles on it. The demos sound nice. If I had a choice I would stick with my a4000 + mp7 because I know it and i love the features more than the 909. But I weigh the options that I need (polyphany, filters, sounds) over the needs of others that might like the 909 (sampler, adsr & filter viewing, large screen).
