I should have mentioned that if you want to control the XL-7 directly from
the Karma, then you would just run form the Karanm ou port to the XL-7's
in port. If you use Logic or Cubase, those programs will let you do the
routing 'virtually' which could be easier than physically swapping the
cables.

That should work just fine, just make sure to select the Midisport's B
port in E-loader and you should be good to go!

I got a Karma on Sunday. So now I am going to hook everything
together and want a second opinion if this would be the right way to
slave the XL-7 and still be able to trigger samples on my PC. I am
using a midiman 2x2.
So, I am going to go from the Karma's out to the midiman A in.
The midiman's A out will return to the Karma.
The midiman's B out port will go into the XL7's in port amd the XL7
out will route back to the B in on the midiman.
This should still let me do edits via E-loader and use the Karma as a
controller for the XL7 and software, right? Or should I be using the
through port on the Karma?
I am not a networking type of person. So, I have looking at all of
the different schematics from all the vendors and I think I need a
drink. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
