So, I would connect it up through the midiman like in the orignal? Then change the midi settings in Cubase? I will be using Ableton Live as well to let samples play. And in most cases Live will initiate the start stop commands to the XL7. Would it be better to seperate the two pieces of hardware and dedicate each to its own channel on the 2x2? Can the XL7 have multiple sources giving it commands?
