Have you assigned each track in Creator to the right midi channel?

Subject: [xl7] MP-7 and Cakewalk Music Creator
Hey guys! Well I'm advancing a little at a time with this new machine.
I've
managed to straighten all the problems I had in the past with E-Loader.
But
now is a more difficult problem for me. Has anyone tried to use the XX-7
with
Cakewalk's Music Creator 2000? I have the software now, but I'm trying to
work out all the kinks. I'm using the USB Midisport 2x2 between the MP-7
and
the PC. So now I'm trying to get the software to record instruments on
separate tracks. the only way it will playback that every note is playing
on
the track that is showing on the command station's screen. Example:
Bassdrum=
track 1
Snare= track 2
Hi Hat= track 3
The software shows three different tracks recorded but all the instruments
are being played on a single channel during MIDI playback. I hope you guys
understand what I'm trying to say here. Any suggestions?
Majik
