Can't the MP-7 record > to 2 different tracks at the same time? > First I think people are confusing your external drum pad controller with the pads on the XX-7. That's why all the questions and doubt about how you are doing this. Second you can record multiple channels to a single track by setting the track to one of the "multi" assignments. (MultiA/MultiB). Unfortunately there is no simple way to separate a multichannel track into new tracks with one channel of information per track. You can though use the selective note range in the edit commands to accomplish the same thing in this case (cut all kick notes to track one, snares to track 2 and so on). This of course can be done without having done the multichannel recording in the first place. Unfortunately there is no way to record on two or more tracks. Hopefully E-mu will create some easy solution or alternative in a subsequent OS release. drk www.delora.com/music www.mp3.com/zdrk drk.iuma.com
