Re: [xl7] Last one, I promise!

2003-01-22 by Ravi Ivan Sharma

I was thinking that perhaps those that have already voted might start discussing their favorite tracks and what they liked and didn't like. Such discussion is likely to create interest in the actual tracks and could lead to more listens, and more votes.

I personally liked "Drop n Change" a lot. People should go listen to it and compare it to the others. http://EmuCS.iuma.com

I think that "Saints of Saint Sloan" has an addictive melody and sounds both fun and sad at the same time. The production is quite rough though. But that could be fixed.

C'mon everybody, throw in your two cent's worth!

Ok, only a few days left for the contest voting, I hope some more people
are able to listen and vote before Sunday. We have over 600 people on
this list now, but only 16 people have voted :(

You can listen to and download the songs here:

  http://EmuCS.iuma.com

  And place your vote here:

  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/surveys?id=11019184

Also, if the people who entered a song(s) can send me their name and what
song(s) they did later this week, that would be great. That way when I
announce the winners we can put a name to the tunes. If you want to post
a quick write up on how you all made your tunes, as well as things you
maybe would do differently if you had to do it again, that would be great
  too!

  Thanx!
