Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

yes again. The presets will just show up in the MP7. The only quirk is that 
the presets in the XL1 rom are tweaked to use 4 knobs rather than 16, so not 
all the knobs will do as expected. Hardly a big deal though, all the base 
waves are there for your use in your own presets as well.

If you want to have the presets that were for the XL7 (using the same ROM 
essentially) you can download the XL7 4 bank preset set into your user 
memory. Remember however that this will wipe out whatever your own presets 
are there so back up carefully before doing this. If you haven't made any of 
your own presets then go right ahead. Then you will have the XL7 presets in 
user memory (4 banks)(with full knob use), the XL1 presets in ROM memory (4 
ROM banks) and the MP7 presets in ROM Memory (4 ROM banks) to get you 
started.
