Song: Quantum Foam Name: Nathan Larson (aka Samsa) Quantum Foam was made using only 6 tracks on an XL-7 with the P2K ROM. Most of the PCM ROM samples used were still from the factory XL-7 chip. Heavily soaked in FX (Hall 2 and Symphonic). 21 measures long (I like to use wierd pattern lengths to get more of a 'random' feel and to hide the limitations of pattern based recording. Made on 1 pattern and mixed and tweeked via the volume and program knobs. That's about it! If you have any questions or need clarification, just let me know. Thanks again reAlm for putting on this great contest. It's great to hear the quality and caliber the command station can create! Again great job to all of those who submitted tracks! I think the XX-7 boxes are still one of the best all-in-one boxes on the market. I will be keeping my XL-7 FOREVER!!! All the best, Nathan _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
