Finally just recently moved to really screwing around with Reason, I
have to admit that I've been really digging on the avenues the
program leaves open.
I've been using the Command Station to control the bulk of reason,
and during the course of such had come up with a few questions that I
was hoping some of you would be able to answer.
1. Though "most" knob data and any key presses I make on the Command
Station transmit fine to Reason, I've been having trouble being able
to use the Command Stations sequencer as a means of controlling
Reason. For whatever reason, soon as I begin playing a sequence on
the Command Station specifically made to be dumped into Reason,
Reason is unable to pick up the Midi information being transmitted by
the sequencer. Anyone have any ideas as to why this may be occuring?
2. I primarirly use the midi learn function to assign what knobs on
the Command Station I want to correspond with whatever on reason.
I've come to notice however that there is a small handfull of knobs
on the Command Station, that though they are transmitting Midi data,
when I use the Midi learn function on Reason (which shows that it's
picking up Midi activity), it never seems to actually learn to relate
designated knob/slider to the knob that I told it to learn on the
Command Station. Anyone have any ideas why?
Respects,
