First off congratulations on picking out a great box. :) I take it that this is your first stab at making electronic music? This is a pretty deep box but there is alot that you can get to right off the bat thanks to patterns that come with the box. I would start working with them and see what you come up with before you try and dive into the more complicated stuff. I don't want to sound like i am putting you down or sompthing but expect to get confused and frustrated at first. There is alot to understand in this box. I have been making music with computers and synths for eight years and I got frustrated a few times when I first got this XL7 thing. But I love it to bits. I wish you the best of luck.
