It doesn't hamper it at all live, especially as you can't even do it now. 
Besides, you all have a few more days to improve your timing if you're 
that bad :)

I have to agree here. The omissions seriously hamper the ability to use 
x-mix live. Imagine accidentally swapping the pattern one bar early and 
throwing your whole groove off, and having it blast at a much higher 
volume in context with a different set of sounds! Don't get me wrong, ill 
still use it, ill probably just sweat a little more about it than id like.
