Yeah, pretty much only two reasons to back up your Presets to a computer: 1. You ran out of availble User Preset locations (IE, you're out of space). This is something that will take you a LONG time to do, so it shouldn't be problem. 2. Just in case. It always pays to back up your work, you never know when you mioght accidentally erase something, or heaven forbid, something worse happens. Since you already have a PC, this still shouldn't be an issue. A simple midi interface is fairly cheap, and there's plenty of free basic software sequencers that will record sysex data, so you don't even have to pay for one. But, like Aaron said, it's entirely neccessary either. You could use just the XX-7 by itself forever and not need a PC. rEalm cuz tha way more work 2 look for a sysex sequencer saver..thas only if u run out of space right??
