I agree - I sold mine and got a beat garden. However, make sure you download the extra TSCY presets from Rob Papen's site.

  bit disappointed..

  of presets get my inpsiration going (like a lot of the XL-7 sounds do (by
  the way did you hear the new Ken Ishii album? I'm sure he has an XL 7 or
  otherwise maybe Xtreme lead too)

  having said that, I've only played with the techno synth ROM for a day or 3
  ad it might be that I'll discover all kind of hidden treasures, and maybe
  have to dive a bit deeper into the sounds to make them suit my own
  style/sound/emotions
  best thing seems to be to hear the sounds yourself in a shop or whatever..
