I'm still waiting for my XL-7 to arrive, but I can put in a good word for the Access Virus - and I'm sure rEalm will back me up on that. The Novation stuff has a very nice sound and the Waldorf gear is very versatile, but I think the Virus and its phenomenal filters does the best job of nailing the rawness of analog and would therefore be a better match for the warm digital samples of the E-mus. Unless there's a must-have feature that would be a dealbreaker for you it really comes down to personal preference though.
