It's not a question of how gull the machine is, more about how often you
save. That 35 or less Patterns is perfectly normal.

Is it weird that my MP7 needs to compact when I have less than 35 or so
patterns created and like 4 songs? Some of my patterns have a lot of
controller data and I have a few presets that seem to overload it a bit
also. Any tips on working with in the boundaries of "safe" operation. When
I
use certain presets that I made I notice audible hic ups when the screen
changes which actually happens well after the pattern has changed. Just
bogs
down in general.
