Ouch, $110 and I don't think it's compatible with the P2500, and XX-7s.

wrong ! It's totally compatible (by the mean of sysexes it will list
everything inside your machine whatever ROM you may have)...So you
will see USER and ROM presets (even instruments!!!) you will be able
to edit every parameters with a single mouse click.....I'm still
testing it but I must admit it's a very impressive program (look at
the patchcords or preset editing windows!!).....and last but not
least you can use it for free, without any kind of limitations for a
90 hours time period...after the program will not work anymore(until
next system reinstall ;)..) but you've been working in a sooo much
more confortable way...

Sorry, I was going by teh fact it was listed as P2000 compatible, which
Sounddiver is as well. However, the XX-7's are not the same as the P2000,
as we've discussed in the past. If this works for the XX-7's, then great,
people will finally have an on screen editor now. Does it have Librarian
features as well?

No it doesn't , and i'm a bit less enthusiastic since it crashed
badly, but i'm still under win98SE, maybe it works better with XP who
knows? Just had time to do a killer preset before seeing the
apocalypse..

It's a true P.O.S. This applet was discussed and dissected on the P2k mailing list, a couple of years back, before I sold my P2k when the XL-7 came out. I can't see that any improvements have been made since then - the web pages are the same.

The patchcord architectures are different as I recall, but for what
it's worth the P2000 and the XX-7 are compatible librarian-wise to a
good working approximation; my librarian works for both transparently.

That's the one.

Now that there's a Max/MSP release for Windows, it might be worth my
packaging up a runtime version for public release...

YES yes please do!!!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
