Worlds Within ( MP7 piece)

Worlds Within ( MP7 piece)

Hi all

 http://www.artsong.org/cnf/Warehouse/1515249_worldswithin.mp3

Here is my latest piece. Below are the details. Enjoyed doing this
one. It was great going back to Tunesmith and Laurie Spiegels Music
Mouse.( on Atari) Used the MP7 quite a bit. Played live drums using
the key pads on it towrd the end. I also used Music Mouse to
play "led: apple eater" on Composer Rom. During the mixing of the
tunesmith parts ( an algorithmic generator run on my Atari Falcon) I
was able to use the mix section on the MP7 to control the mix and pan
positions: quite cool! So I used it as a live mixer.Lots of
softsynths on this one as well, but the MP7 was at the heart of it.

info on music mouse and tunesmith on my site:

look on software.

Very cool composition...

I really like the idea of algorhythmic compositional elements in
htere. Anything like that on the PC?

well...theres a few, but not anything like Tunesmith. If you go to my
Fractal Music Composer page , there are links to PC applications.

BTW: FMC was coded by none other then the Cello player for Electric
Light Orchestra.

BUT all this atari stuff can run on PC using Steem

You can use hubbies loopback or standalone to control softsynths or
even the Command stations.
