is it possible to load the midi files of the Xl7 in an MP7 and play
the patterns ?
If think there's a problem with rom ID.

Sure, its possible.

Thats right. I´d open the midi file in a soft sequencer and get rid of
the sysex info at the start of the pattern then use eloader to load it
into your mp7. Then assign your fav presets and save it.

Shouldn't you also load the xl7 presets into the xl1 rom snice the
presets from xl7 are different from the xl1.
Thanks

If you use the XL ver. 2 it will recognize presets and work fine. If
anyone wants an XL ver.1 I will consider selling mine pulled from my
MP-7. If you want an xlver2 I might be able to help with that as
well. I hope you all will excuse my shameless promotions just trying
to get good sounds to good people;)
