I recently spoke to Emu in the uk and they are selling off all their hardware and getting nothing but the new soundcards in!
 
They have also put any updates to the EOS sampler OS on hold indefinately. 
 
And as far as i am aware, creative have owned emu since about 1992, even when the command stations and E4 samplers have been released. They can't be that bad. They're just responding to market figures.

well i'm glad i got my px-7 when i did then :D

now i just need to get one more rom to max it out...i'll make a new 
thread about that...
