Is it possible to use replace recording of just one specified parameter, f.ex. Pitch bend without loosing the notes, velocities.... _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

I would just record that info onto another track, and make sure it's set
to the same midi channel. For instance, say you want to replace the
pitchbend info on Track 3. I would first copy track 3 to another one
(we'll say track 4 for this example), and then mute the original (always
good to have a back up). Now on Track 4, set the channel to 3A, "delete
events: pitchbend", and then rerecord the pitchbend info. If you're
happy, delete teh original track , and then copy track 4 to thatone again.
If you don't want to keep a back up, you coudl just delete the pitchbend
info from track 3 right away and overdub (replace record) that until
you're happy too.

>you coudl just delete the pitchbend >info from track 3 right away and overdub (replace record) that until >you're happy too. that means that replace recording only replaces events if they are changing, and let the others untouched? Am i right? _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

As long as you don't press TAP + RECORD. This would delete the whole track on recording. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Turby Schmidt [mailto:trabantmusic@...] Gesendet: Mittwoch, 24. Am i right? No. He meant to say (NOT replace record). Replace mode replaces everything. His workaround is correct. Erase the event, then use regular (mix) record. -Aaron __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance Tax Center - File online. File on time. http://taxes.yahoo.com/filing.html
