Sources for Emu 7773 Gooseneck Lamp?

Sources for Emu 7773 Gooseneck Lamp?

2004-04-14 by paolovalladolid

This item is almost as hard to find as the World ROM... I found one
store (Kraft Music) that sells it, but in case the order falls
through, does anyone know of a supplier?

Thanks,
Paolo

If you live in the UK, Maplin sells them for 15 quid. In the states, I guess
Radio Shack probably do them.

Any 12v gooseneck lamp will work, I don't use an Emu one either.

Either of those should work, one is 14", the other is 12"

Thanks everyone for the responses! I'll check out the Radio Shacks
in my area after I receive my XL-7. Radio Shack's online store has
this:

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%
5Fid=33-330

The description just says "Gooseneck". It doesn't say what kind of
gooseneck. But I'm sure they've got what I need to complete my soon-
to-be-received XL-7. I already have the gig back and ROMS on the way.

Yeah, that doesn't look right, can't tell what type of connector it is.

Hi Paolo,
If you go to Radio Shack.....here is the part number for what you will need:
#32-1001.......the cost is $19.99. You may have to put it on order.
If you order from Hytechgear.com, here is the correct link for the lamp i got:
http://hytechgear.com/catalog.asp?product=1090&category=85
The cost is only $9.99 now, but you will have to pay shipping (about $7).
Good luck and enjoy your new command station. :-))
Regards, Will

I got a gooseneck lamp from Guitar center, but it was closer to $30.00.

It also had a high intensity light which apparently pulled too much
current because my px7 would crash constantly with it. Changed the
bulb to a 200mA bulb and now I get a nice not-too-bright glow and no
more stability problems.
