Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

So far, I think the distortion 1 & 2 effect don't sound good.

Does anyone have tips to get a nice distorted lead & bass drum? 

Are distorted samples included on any ROMs?

I realize that I could use an external distortion, so please don't
suggest that!!!

>>>Sometimes you can modulate the filter cutoff very slightly with the 
fastest LFO speed possible.  NOt sure if the Emu's LFO's go fast enough 
for this, haven't tried it yet personally.  It's not distortion per se, 
but it can roughly mimic it. <<<
