Guitar Feedback

Guitar Feedback

2004-05-24 by Bruce Manning

I own many but not all of the Emu ROM chips.
I was wondering how members in the group felt about which Emu ROM chip has the best acoustic and electric guitar samples and programmed control features for the presets.
Rather than state the chips I own, I was hoping to hear a general opinion about this question.
I really enjoy the samples on the chips I currently own, with the exception of the acoustic and electric guitar samples.
I have the use for excellent guitar samples in my songs and I will be using a MIDI guitar controller.
I would appreciate your guitar feedback (little joke there)

Great MP7 and XL7 usergroups.

  Hey guys!

Just getting an XL7 this week, so thought id say hey to everyone here :)

Just in case nobody knew, Jean Michel Jarre used one during 2002 on some
of his tracks at the Aero concert in Denmark www.jarreuk.com/aero.htm
and also during some experimental work at a small performance in
  Bourges, France

I have yet to hear a really convincing guitar ROMpler patch, but the P2500
ROM has some that are useable.
